I won!

Yes, it's true, I finally won a "give-away" and what a lovely one it is! The give-away was offered by Karen .

The mysterious parcel arrived at the door with the postman and I was so excited to see what was lurking inside the traditonal brown paper.

Pretty parcels wrapped in pastel tissue paper and so beautifully tied up.



A treasure trove of beautiful handmade goods and craft items was found inside. There were so many special goodies; gorgeous buttons, lovely ribbons, fun appliques, handmade roses wrapping paper, handmade pin cushion and heart and so much more...the glorious scent made it all extra special...



I knew my 11 year old daughter was going to be excited to see the treasures too and when she came home from school she went straight to the parcel to gently see what she could keep for herself from this lovely lot. I dont mind telling you her eyes lit up at the sight and I shared some of the things with her. She immediately got on the sewing machine and made her own little pin cushion complete with one of the flower appliques like Karen used on the adorable pincushion she made!

Thank you Karen for sending such a thoughtful and generous gift. I really love it all and cant wait to make something with the all the lovely notions you have sent.
