Finally some recent dry weather has allowed us back into the garden for a tidy up after the wind and rains of late. Most plants havent done so well for us this year but a few things were still giving a good effort like this beautful Salvia mixed in with Lavatera.



And what about this pretty old Rose?



We also have this wonderful coral colour water lilly that has flowered beautifully all "summer" long.



We couldn't enjoy as much of the summer gatherings this year as we hoped but that didn't stop me from purchasing another incredible vintage tablecloth. I have quite a collection of them but this one was huge, plenty big enough for our extra large garden table and the large farmhouse table I hope to one day have room for! It looks exactly like a famous Wilendur tablecloth design but did not have any tags on it so I'm not sure if it is or not but that doesn't matter, as it is just so very pretty. Taking advantage of the better weather, I was able to get some pretty photos for the website, like this wonderful cut glass punch bowl set.





...And this tin bath which is perfect for outdoor events like barbecues and country garden weddings! Just fill it with ice to hold drinks or with water, pretty flower heads and floating candles.
